Our 100th woman is Dr. Pikka Jokelainen, the new President of World Federation of Parasitologists. Despite being the first female to hold the role, she asks that you donā€™t refer to her as the ā€˜female Presidentā€™, as you would not have called her previous 14 colleagues ā€˜male Presidentsā€™.

Very excited that our most recent work on widespread benzimidazole resistance in dog hookworms in the USA is now out on BioRxiv. We also report a very interesting finding on a novel resistance mutation in these populations. biorxiv.org/content/10.110ā€¦
