Our 100th woman is Dr. Pikka Jokelainen, the new President of World Federation of Parasitologists. Despite being the first female to hold the role, she asks that you don’t refer to her as the ‘female President’, as you would not have called her previous 14 colleagues ‘male Presidents’.
