If WE are unable to access our own language, trying to consider other people’s access wouldn’t be high on the priority list! We’re trying to get access for ourselves, for families, etc..

But I do know the community is very encouraging towards those genuinely learning sign language and even often go as far to help them practice or suggest places where hearies can go and interact with Deafies to immerse themselves into the culture x
