I know the referee may not want to make that call and kill the match, but that's a two footer that was nowhere near the ball. Studs probably don't quite get him so I suppose you could argue not enough force, but man that's reckless. What is he thinking? #MLSCupFinal

And GAME ON. Bouanga follows up his shot to make it 2-1. They were coming on the last couple minutes. Think the younger legs in midfield can help. Columbus needs to get back on the ball, suck LAFC in, and look to play the ball over the top in the wide spaces again

After #LAFC's great start (18 pts after 8 games, GD of +10), they really weren't all that tremendous the rest of the way (34 points from 26 matches, GD of +5), and not sure they were that impressive in the playoffs, either. Columbus were just the better team.

While it's only Serie B, it's nice to see two Americans really act as the backbone of a side. Tessman and Busio are definitely both outstanding at this level in their own way. They SHOULD be back up to Serie A next season. #USMNT

If you are a #USMNT fan, you should be following Greg O'Keeffe if you aren't already. These player updates are good stuff: theathletic.com/5168348/2024/0…

A bit of dialog about Mauricio for Seattle Sounders FC fans. I think he's a very lovely technical player that just lacks a bit of pace & quickness. Best inside IMO. x.com/RyanSoccerAA/s…

Leaves on a free. I just don't understand. Surely they could've gotta a fee for him at some point. It kind of defeats the whole purpose of buying younger talents.

I said this at the time, but he's not a dynamic athlete and a ton of his creation in MLS was from set pieces. AZ was always a stretch for him.

I hate to say it, but Zach Steffen has simply never been that good. Last year in the Championship per FBREF his PSxG +/- was -3.1, putting him at 42nd out of 55 keepers in 22/23. Might be okay in MLS, distribution isn't bad, but not sure he's going to be a top MLS keeper.

Very happy to see Esmir Bajraktarevic on this roster. To me, he's an absolute future star. Luna of course as well. While nowhere near the first team #USMNT, the talent and skill of a couple of these players should be exciting to watch.

Guess it didn't take too long for Franco Fagundez to make an impact for Club Santos EN who gets the assist after megging Alan Mozo. Santos up 1-0 and the better team after the break. Chivas may need to wake up #LigaMX

Efrain Alvarez on for Xolos. TJ pushing to score and sure enough, despite dominating the entire match, Club América EN finds what looks like a winner from a deflection of a Salvador Reyes shot against the run of play. Brutal. #LigaMX

Club América may be the favorites for the tournament...but this was a shocking result. I'm sure they'll do fine in Azteca, but this should put the big clubs on notice in the #ConcaChampions While you'd expect Philly Union to struggle vs Saprissa in Costa Rica, but what about

Great goal by Vancouver Whitecaps FC to open up the match vs. Club Tigres 🐯. The Whitecaps are a decent side and while they are nowhere near fit, Tigres did just play 4 days ago and had to travel. Been a decent matchup so far in the Concacaf Champions Cup. #VWFC #Tigres

Tigres has a lot of possession, but they do look a bit off it. Travel to British Colombia could not have been easy. Not real warm there, either. Concacaf Champions Cup #VWFC #Tigres
