SOCC BookClub had their first trip down to the library today. 44 students went; including 3 fabulous Prefects that helped out. Students perused the shelves, got recommendations + took time to unwind with a good book 📚😌 Can't wait to discuss the chosen books at our next meeting!

✍🏼 TYC Literacy Leaders were teaching students in 2 Roe & 2 Gola how to write a letter. 🎄 These letters will be sent to residents in a nursing home to spread some Christmas cheer as part of the Kindness Initiative from Carepack.ie & An Post. 🍎 Thank you Ms Markey

🧑🏼‍🏫 Today we had a little department send off for Mary, the most caring, sensitive and compassionate teacher you could ever meet! 🍎 Happy retirement Mary, St Oliver's CC students have been privileged to have you as their teacher!

⭐️ The stars aligned today and we got to create a circle of sonnets in the sun. ✍🏼 3rd year students shared sonnets they had written in response to Shakespeare’s ‘Sonnet 18’ 🫶🏼 Their creativity was staggering! 🥹 ‘ this would definitely have been in my final selection for CBA2’
