Giant snotlings and an extra little giant

Just prior to shooting Rancor in Return of the Jedi a big 5K light fell on my hand causing a huge blood blister. We did a number of takes and broke for lunch. My hand was so swollen that I couldn’t remove it. I had to order out and ate lunch with my hand up Rancor’s ass.

Very sad news about the death of Russ Nicholson, quite simply *the* White Dwarf artist. Massively influential. RIP.

I was devastated to hear that Russ Nicholson had passed away. I had the pleasure to work with Russ on The Warlock of Firetop Mountain and more. His iconic pen and ink illustrations were incredibly atmospheric and set the standard for Fighting Fantasy. He will be greatly missed.

I’ve been a naughty snotling. I started painting Grinkrak’s looncourt even through I haven’t finished Zarbag’s gitz yet. As everbody knows, snotlings are very well behaved. I'm the exception. Love these cute gobbo knights though. Here is sir Pointy Burk. #WarhammerCommunity

Met Max Faleij at a store opening in Gothenburg. His knowledge and love for painting is infectious. He helped me with all my questions as I was starting to paint again. One thing I still think about a lot was his approach to colour schemes. Get a glimpse of it here. Recommended.
