Trout are released! Ecology Club from Sarah Noble School was able to set about 75 trout into their new home in the East Aspetuck at Pratt Nature Center this afternoon with Mrs. Gee Great job, everyone! Thanks for another great year of TIC, Candlewood Valley TU!

Shhh, don’t tell them but I slipped data collection, addition, rounding and estimation into saving the world this week as we worked together to get an accurate count of almost 800 trout eggs!

Snow day’s are for prepping our TIC Quilt project squares for the mail. Still time to get them in for the Friday deadline!

Spent our afternoon mapping the quilt squares that are coming - from Alaska to Pennsylvania!

SNIS Family Science Night was a huge success, congrats to all the participants! A huge thank you to all our volunteer Trout Ambassadors that helped out with our mobile trout tank and Ecology Club table- great job!
