KSNV News 3 Las Vegas Our granddaughter fell in the pool when she was 1 and 1/2 this April 5th 9 1/2 years ago. Her grandma left the sliding door open she crawled out to the pool and fell in. She was found by grandma and resuscitated by vegas fire. She is 11 now and very healthy!

Mayor Pro Tem Tarkanian has always been an advocate of drowning prevention in City of Las Vegas for MANY years and we appreciate & applaud her efforts!
I have been honored to work side by side with City of Las Vegas Mayor Pro Tem Tarkanian for almost 15 years on many child & community safety initiatives . She is a true CHAMPION & HERO in our community especially when it comes to child safety. Congratulations!
