I'm really glad the BBC didn't put all the final-series episodes of #HappyValley on the iPlayer at once but are, rather, airing an episode a week. It makes for essential viewing; a reason to look forward to Sunday night; and a shared experience followed by much happy chatter.

Probably one of the best and most satisfying TV endings ever. I never get annoyed when a show misfires a finale - it’s so tricky to get right. But I can’t remember any show wrapping up with such a compelling and complete showdown, and with such style and emotion #happyvalley
