So I graduated with my MLIS this month from Rutgers University Rutgers School of Communication and Information 5 job interviews, 2 were second round at large R1 universities. While I have yet to land anything I’m sending out tons of applications. If you’re academic library is hiring let me know!
Some exciting news: June 5th I will be joining Lesley University Library at Lesley University as their new Collections Access Librarian! I am excited to use my MLIS from Rutgers School of Communication and Information and to leave the midwest for Massachusetts!

A 10-year-girl in Delaware picked up “It’s Perfectly Normal” while at the library with her mother. When they came home, she showed her mom the chapter on sexual abuse and said, “This is me.” She was being abused by her father, and it was the first time she’d spoken about it.

Watching Gen Z men veer right hits different for Millennials. We lived through Columbine, 9/11, the Iraq War, 2008 crash, 2016 election, covid, abortion bans, & now this. We watched institutions repeatedly fail us while older generations selfishly protected the status quo. 🧵1/
