The Baxter boys track and field team goes 17 deep. The Bolts are led by 2024 state qualifiers Matt Richardson, Logan Rainsbarger and Max Handorf. Carter Smith also should have a big year in throwing events and second-year head coach Ryan Hermes expects a few others to shine.

The Baxter boys track and field won the ISC meet for the 2nd straight season. The Bolts won the 4x800 relay. Carter Smith won the discus with a career-best 151-1, which is 10th in Class 1A. #iahstrk
