The conversation around #mentalhealth continues to evolve, especially in the last year. And it's so great to see new #kidlit like "Balloons for Papa" present the topic to children in such an empathetic and lyrical way. This book is a great intro to a tough topic.

The ending reminded me of that line in ‘The Great Gatsby’: “They were careless people…they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness…and let other people clean up the mess they had made.” #whitelotus

Went to the movies for the first time since Nov. 2019. A much changed experience, to say the least, but #Spencer was an absolute stunner. I highly recommend!

Watching Prince Harry on 60 Minutes - reminded me of this novel by Monica Ali, which imagined that Diana set up her death and disappeared. It’s a fascinating “what if?”

“This Is a School” by John Schu and beautiful art by Veronica Miller Jamison 🎨 Illustrator 👩🏽‍🎨 — working in a school, gotta say, this book captures the magic in those walls…and all the possibility that awaits. A great one for teachers to revisit year after year. #kidlit
