In a country where citizens are already grappling with a harsh economic situation and a minimum wage that remains at 30,000 Naira, it is appalling that the government is introducing this new policy that will further burden struggling individuals, causing even more poverty.

Nigeria's education system is in crisis, with over 20 million out-of-school children, the highest in the world. The recent introduction of the 12-4 education system may not be the solution, as the real issues lie in systemic barriers such as poverty, insecurity, and so on.

The global debt crisis isn’t just about money but justice. While lower-income countries bear the burden of debt, higher-income nations owe a far greater one for the lasting harm that has weakened education, healthcare, and security. #WhoOwesWho #YearofReparation

Nigeria recently introduced Consumer Price Index (CPI) rebasing, changing how inflation is measured. This dropped the official rate from 34.8% to 24.48%, but prices haven’t fallen - just the calculation method has changed. #CPIRebasing
