#Nigeria PLHIV Stigma Index Survey: 24.5% of adults aged 35-44 & 21.7% of young adults aged 18-24 have experienced stigma/ discrimination. On this #ZeroDiscriminationDay I call for domestication & effective enforcement of #HIV /AIDS Anti-Discrimination Act by all states in Nigeria

On this 10th Anniversary of #ZeroDiscriminationDay we must recall that discrimination against anyone is harmful to the health of everyone.

In order to deliver on the promise to end AIDS by 2030, everyone's rights must be protected, respected and fulfilled.

The countdown to the commemoration of #ZeroDiscriminationDay on March 1 presents an opportunity for us to strengthen our commitments towards addressing all forms of stigma and discrimination.

Advocacy visit by UNAIDSNigeria led by Dr. Leo ZEKENG to Nigeria Governors Wives Forum chaired by Kwara State First Lady. Commitments were reaffirmed on ending inequalities, prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, detecting new infections & closing treatment gap for pregnant & breastfeeding mothers.

Education is a right of all children.

We must protect every child’s right to learn—no matter who they are or where they are.

And we must transform education to ensure adolescent girls & young women are not left behind.
