Got a 2.4 GPA my first semester in college. Thought maybe I wasn’t cut out for engineering. Today I’ve landed two spacecraft on Mars, and am now designing one for the Moon. STEM is hard for everyone. Grades ultimately aren’t what matter. Curiosity and perseverance matter.

Don’t beat yourself up because it seem like everyone else goals is happening & yours not. Your PATH IS DIFFERENT so just continue to WORK hard until YOUR TIME COMES! & WHEN IT DO you will be PROUD you kept WORKING no matter how hard it may get at times👏🏾💯

My wish is for everyone to see and humanize these women. They were working so hard to survive and provide for their families and loved ones. They were someone’s mother or aunt or daughter or niece....and loved. It breaks me that we have to ask for others to see us as human.
