#FishingCat's have different vocalisations, ranging from the typical cat sounds - hissing, very obvious growling and low-frequency growling (as recorded by Giridhar Malla, PhD and his team when they came across a female being harassed by a male) to yes, purring! (1/3) #Srilanka

and it truly is a spectacular experience being in the middle of a conversation. Last year we were lucky enough to record one of our cats vocalising on on camera. It's a chirpy-quack. Much like Tsavo's chirping when she wants to go upstairs to look for snacks. (3/3)
