Sloop Speedy ⚓️ may know that Lord Cochrane had an interest in steam locomotives. He patented several rotary steam engines one of which was fitted to Rocket in 1834. It wasn't successful. According to George Stephenson the engine couldn't be made to pull a train of empty carriages
