TOM VERLAINE was a prime architect of the New York punk sound and a visionary guitarist/lyricist/singer. Marquee Moon mesmerized me from the moment I heard it—it was earthy and raw, yet poetic and sophisticated. Just sublime. RIP (1949-2023). youtube.com/watch?v=4f3d5Z…
