An exciting day for Sleaford Navigation Trust with the arrival of Benjamin Handley, our new trip boat, now moored up awaiting fit-out in readiness for trips next Spring. Thanks to UKSPF ⁦North Kesteven District Council,⁩ HD Narrowboats and everyone else who helped with today’s logistics!

Benjamin Handley’s fit-out has started today, SNT volunteers Neil and Rob are seen here on board laying batons to support the floor. Steve was busy cutting the wood to size in between chatting to passers-by with Chris on the bank handing out leaflets. Great to see such interest!
