During Oct/Nov our support at court teams helped 449 families & friends of defendants at Teesside, Newcastle & Durham Crown Courts & through our telephone support service, providing ongoing support to families from police custody through to courts & prison bit.ly/2GzwQSB

The NEPACS youth project is ready for its last special family days for this Christmas. With the amazing help from our placement youth worker Vicki, young people attending the family days will have a chance to create their own 3D nativity scenes to display in their homes.

We just have 2 special Christmas themed family days left this year - at HMPs Durham & Low Newton but the feedback from all the special family visits so far has been fantastic. This is just one of the many comments we have received from families, in this case HMP Holme House.

Our play and youth team enjoyed a trip to The Entertainer this morning thanks to a £2,000 donation from DreamToys It looks like they had fun stocking up on new toys, games and crafts for our play areas and youth zones in north east prisons. Thank you.
