I believe firing Topper was the correct decision. But that doesn’t make me happy. Dombrowski and the players deserve far more blame. Topper clearly is a good person, and I believe a good manager, so it’s a damn shame his time here ends like this.

I knew it would hurt but I am surprised how hard the Topper firing is hitting me. This era of Phillies baseball very much started on June 3rd, 2022 and if he doesn't steady the ship that summer, who knows what happens to the franchise over the last 4 years.
