My God this clip is utterly enraging When was that warning issued? We are still learning Are you kidding me?! How many more thousands of children have to develop #LongCovid before you warn parents that Covid is not benign in children!? This clip is sickening! #LongCovidKids

At the start of COVID, the government implemented many social programs that helped people who were struggling. These programs were immensely popular. Yet instead of fighting hard to extend and expand them, Democrats prematurely declared the pandemic was over and let them expire.

I think that Sandel's book "The tyranny of merit" is very informative on why the Democrats lost the election to Trump: the (political) promise that everyone gets what s/he deserves when working hard legitimises inequality, demoralizes the working-class and soul-destroys the rich.

My #LongCovidKids son became anxious about school because he feared he would be stuck in for the day feeling dreadful. As soon as he trusted his teacher would call me if he was too unwell to finish the day this anxiety went away. Children get #LongCovid LongCovid is not uncommon!

The present in the western world feels like the late stage of the USSR: the Apparatchiks and multiple Pravdas lie in unison about the reality that people can see with their own eyes and noone believes a word out of them anymore. Like the late USSR, this is not sustainable. 1/

The pandemic years, far from receding in social memory, are right now. The #SARSCoV2 pandemic is still ongoing. Fact. The virus affecting heart, brain, vascular & immune system is damaging people every day. Consequently, it is very much not the past, alas, much as we'd like.

tern Yes we knew the lockdown excuse could only last so long. Covid infection is bad for the placenta. Blood supply is very important. We tell pregnant women not to smoke. Why don’t we warn them about Covid?
