Launching on Wednesday, Sept 25. Stay tuned! Right now, #AI is having a moment β€” and it’s not the first time grand predictions about the potential of machines are being made. But, what does it really mean to say something like ChatGPT is β€œintelligent”? What exactly is

If LLMs were good at nothing else beyond taking unstructured data & structuring it and effective summarization & compression of text, that would be still a pretty big deal for many industries and researchers.

Incredible: AI can predict the winner of the 2024 election. Looks like there will be a few surprises; for example, there's a good chance that Iowa will win Texas.

GPT-3.5 (text-davinci-003) dropped two years ago. It was pretty astonishing (you can see me start to experiment in the thread). GPT-4 represented about as much of a leap a few months later. Since then, improvements across a wide variety of areas, but nothing as shocking (yet).
