Good that Ofsted is listening & adapting but the fact remains that training providers will still only find out in Sept where the goalposts will be set for starting in November, and that's simply not long enough - that’s why AELP said defer the launch until at least Jan 26

Starts are up, BUT driven by strong demand at higher levels, especially level 7. Worrying ongoing decline at key levels 2 and 3. Extremely worrying though is further decline in young people in apprenticeships - much more needed here. Good to see completions increasing AELP
