Political and religious beliefs change with time. Intelligent and secure people respect other person's ideologies even when it doesn't match their own. You are lucky if you have a partner like that.

To attend and help parents and in-laws (both sides) should be the duty of both husband and wife. THAT is actually a part of our Indian culture.

As kids we don't feel grateful for what we get from our parents and that's ok, as long as we do that once we become adults. Sadly, some people don't realise that even as adults and those are the ones who are always angry with everyone

I condemn youngsters who get set up by matchmakers, meet just a few times and then decide to get married.

Women like good looking guys. They do. But most of them marry an average looking guy who's rich (earns much more than them) and slightly subservient.

Finding a life partner is not easy. But if anyone tells you that it's not necessary, they only want to see you live miserably. Cut ties with that person!!

You can travel the world, meet new people and try new cuisines with your partner as well. But once you reach your 40s, you'll realise how sharing your life, space & dreams with someone trumps everything mentioned above.

My advice to people in their 20s - Be low maintenance & pick a similar partner - Marry before 30 - Parents & family before everyone else - Prioritise respect over love - Don't underestimate the power of money. Concentrate on earning
