Ancient Egyptians found that smooth, wet sand was better for moving heavy blocks. We investigated why by using a newton meter to measure the amount of friction created by different surfaces.

The author/illustrator Karin Littlewood came to visit yesterday! She talked about what it’s like to be an illustrator and started a fantastic art project with us linked to the book The Colour of Home. We were so inspired!

Year 4 visited the Museum of London to see the Roman Exhibition! We learnt some new facts and switched on what we know to understand more!
