sitting cross-legged, staring at a mirror in hand. her paranoia has gotten the better of her. she’s still not heard from Suki, or seen her at her usual haunts. she is having nightmares of falling, of darkness. so she is trying to scry for her. … but there is nothing at all.

From the shadows, a ghostly man emerged below Suki. As he arised, he scooped Suki in his arms. Kage couldn't do anything like this. Hoping someone — anyone — could help her. He felt betrayed by his king. K¡lling his last kin like this. He will never forget.

…. another nightmare. this time, of gloom. of desert winds … the undead king’s horrid eyes. the flash of a dagger—- and a hairpin. .. Suki’s hairpin. she springs into action, scouring through the notebooks from her lessons. there is a spell to track objects, she recalls. —

… she’s returned to the surface. despite red rimmed eyes, her face looks pallid and empty. it lacks her usual color, her usual life. ( she needs something. she needs something. that’s all. )
