So proud of Silas Kennedy for winning the Spartan Award, the most prestigious athletic award given at Central Davidson High School to a senior who demonstrates excellence in athletics, leadership, academics, and service.

Old North State League Final from High Point: Hushpuppies 15 Gliders 1 Pups pick up their first victory of the summer and Silas Kennedy gets the win: 6.0 IP 1 R 2 H 3 BB

It took two attempts (rain suspended the game on Monday) but Silas Kennedy picked up where he left off and earned the win in a 4-1 victory over Oak City on a hot Saturday afternoon, pitching 7 innings and only giving up 2 hits and no runs.
