As Sikhs here in Warrington and across the world celebrate the creation of the Khalsa in 1699, it was a joy to be at the Gurdwara today to join in the celebrations and share my very best wishes everyone for a blessed and blissful Vaisakhi.

Great to join many thousands today, as #Sikhs in Kent celebrated #Vaisakhi with a Nagar Kirtan procession through town.

Huge logistical effort by Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara Gravesend volunteers, whom I thanked in my speech, while reflecting on today’s religious significance.
