A2: student objectives should be in student language and they should be very specific. Revisiting objectives as frequently as possible is key. Ss should be able to talk about their learning through objective statements #OnslowEduChat #EngageHYS

A3: Group roles and responsibilities must be established for Ss in cooperative learning. I love @Flipgrid Ss create videos and their peers can reflect. In math they can assess their peers’ videos for accuracy. Ss love it. #OnslowEduChat #EngageHYS

A4: I know we all want to see what Ss are writing on paper, but a great way to formatively assess Ss’ understanding is to listen to the academic dialogue. Let them speak about the topic. #OnslowEduChat #EngageHYS
