100% Fully Software 2.0 computer. Just a single neural net and no classical software at all. Device inputs (audio video, touch etc) directly feed into a neural net, the outputs of it directly display as audio/video on speaker/screen, that’s it.

Why do I want 1M+ token context windows? Because my system prompt is going to include literally every Karpathy lecture and say: “Teach me *exactly* like this.” That’s why.

Putting non-tech millennials in tech and giving them titles like “Product Owner”, “Project Manager”, and “Scrum Master” is just a modern Stanford Prison Experiment

My view on this has not changed in the past eight years: I have given many talks and written position paper in 2019 (link below). Progress is faster than my past expectation. My target date used to be ~2029 back then. Now it is 2026 for a superhuman AI mathematician. While a

Somehow TIME magazine forgot to include the one woman pushing more code than the rest of this entire list combined. I am not hyperbolizing (it's Justine Tunney by the way, we all use her llama.cpp optimizations)

I live in a country where 80ish is roughly the average national IQ. Let me tell you what it’s like. The most noticeable way this manifests is inefficiency. Obvious, easy, efficient, long term solutions to problems are often ignored in favour of short term solutions that

405B is coming next week, and we expect it to outperform Sonnet and GPT-4o by a wide margin. But this is just the start. I have a few more tricks up my sleeve. I’ll continue to work with Sahil Chaudhary to release even better LLMs that make this one look like a toy. Stay tuned.
