After reading Creepy Carrots we thought about the problem our character faced and how he decided to solve it! Then we made our own creepy carrots to match 🥕🥕🐇🐇

Today, the Groveland community had an opportunity to honor our country's veterans. We thank all of our veterans for their unwavering bravery, strength, and courage.

Today we celebrated our Veterans and thanked them for making the ultimate sacrifice to help keep us safe! Thank to all who organized and participated in our assembly! 🇺🇸

Kindergarten read informational and fiction texts about turkeys today! We identify the main idea and details and then used our creative side to help disguise a turkey! Happy thanksgiving 🦃🦃

Yesterday in math we used our problem solving skills 🧠 to compare different objects based on how long or short the objects were! 📏

We used our math brains to think about adding 1 more and then did some exercises to count to that new number 🔢

Today we cut flat shapes to turn them into other shapes we’ve learned! ◼️➡️🔺

Today we learned about Penn State’s Penn State THON™ and wrote cards to send to the dancers who will celebrate in a few weeks!

Happy 100th day of school! We had an great day using 100 in our math centers and thinking about all the ways we are 100 days smarter! 💯🎊

In kindergarten we have been working to build and write numbers using ten frames as we count all the way to 2️⃣0️⃣!

We ❤️ the warm weather today and spent time practicing our blends using chalk outside!☀️

We started our end of the year countdown today! Each day we’ll pop a new balloon to keep track of the last weeks of school!

Happy beach day! We’ve reached the B in our ABC countdown and it was a great time! ☀️🌊🏝⛱
