Our straps are made with Tuscan calf leather, and we punch them in-house to adapt quick release German made spring bars from Beco Technic, our supplier of choice for watchmaker's tools and consumables.

After working with various case back openers, we settled for an elastomer version, that creates enough friction to screw the case back in, until the slipping point. The great benefit of this opener is that the metal never gets scratched, even if the tool slips.

The rule of thumb to get your screw tight enough without forcing it, it to go until it stops, and then turn by an additional angle that roughly corresponds to the slit's width. Find out more at wdsh.rs/field

Although it seems like a shortcut from a qualitative perspective, a fitting ring made in nylon 6 instead of nickel plated brass will act as a bumper, by taking in shocks and vibrations instead of directly transferring them to the movement. Find more at wdsh.rs/field

Screwing back the Soprod's P024 rotor is the finishing touch before closing the watch, after having assembled and regulated the movement on a bench. The rotor is removed during those steps for convenience, and to allow easy fine-tuning. Find out more at wdsh.rs/field

We regulate the Soprod P024 in our workshop in three positions: dial up (not shown on the pictures), 12h down and 3h down; in order to replicate the natural positions of the wrist during the day. Find out more about our Made in Europe watch at wdsh.rs/field

In mid May, we finally took delivery of Soprod P024 movements for our rendition of the American MIL-W-3818B general purpose watch. This collection is the result of a synergy between the brands Techné (established in 2009) and Siduna (established in 1929). wdsh.rs/field
