As a graduate of a Hasidic yeshiva and as a professor who teaches yeshiva graduates, I am personally offended by Eliza Shapiro's attack on Hasidic yeshivas. I also question the "evidence" that led to her false conclusion. An apology is warranted The New York Times. Thanks Andrew Yang🧢⬆️🇺🇸!
I just watched the #NJGovDebate between @PhilMurphyNJ and Jack Ciattarelli, and fellow CPA Jack Ciattarelli has earned my vote. It was disappointing to see that Gov. Murphy has no plan to make NJ more business-friendly and streamline its tax regime.
As a graduate of Hasidic yeshivas, a professor and educator, and CPA (an Elijah Watt Sells awardee), I strongly support the yeshiva education and urge Eric Adams to allow parents to choose the education for their children.
For the record, I wrote to Eliza Shapiro in February 2021 about my support for the yeshivas. The New York Times followed up with many critics but didn't consider it important to interview an educator and former teacher with children in yeshivas... with a different perspective.
