Despite finding a software glitch that was incorrectly converting longitude, I now have 16 dive + CTD targets in UNOLS MFP, 6 draft dive plans, & only 1,489 things to do before we meet the ship ! Hopefully gear & hazmats will arrive soon & maybe I'll relax... or not #protatax23

For some years now the del Campo Lab has been studying the diversity of #protists within the #coral holobiont. I am happy to see this paper out in which we provide one of the first evidence that non-photosynthetic protists might play a role in coral's response to heat stress 🪸🦠
