What's the definition of a local birder? All sites monitored and recorded are within a 6 mile radius of my front door. Industrial estates, a cemetery, local nature reserves, farmland and brownfield sites all feature.

To most these are just cute fluffy ducklings but to me they are evidence of a 13th breeding species I have found in an 11 acre patch I have been monitoring. I have recorded 45 different species of bird on the small area from Goldcrest to Grey Heron. ShropshireBirdingNews BTO Shropshire
