Our year 5&6 Forest School group has been busy making a range of Christmas crafts in our school’s woodland. The children applied a range of cutting, drilling and tying skills to create wreathes and ornaments for their families.

Our Year 3/4 children had an amazing time launching their RE learning today. They were engaged in the stories,sights and sounds of Hinduism with Krishna and Indri.They learned about Hindu gods and the ways Hindus worship.They experienced music, dance and traditional dress.

Choir took part in the Wensleydale Tournament of Song on Friday. They were presented with the Dales Trophy for their Choral singing. The Year 6 duets were fantastic - what courage singing on that huge stage! Well done to our Choir, Mrs Wilford & Mrs Emmerson- you were AMAZING!

A very enjoyable afternoon at the year 5&6 boys' football league competition. Both teams performed very well against some tough opposition from across our area. Excellent sportsmanship and leaders on show by all. We are looking forward to repeat fixtures later in the year.

It was lovely to see so many RMS families at today’s Remembrance Parade, service and Act of Remembrance. There was a real sense of pride in our Richmond community. Thank you to our Head Pupils who did a great job laying the wreath on behalf of the whole school.
