“S-spooky season? P-please don’t scare me! Rai don’t like it....” poor Mai is hiding from all of the scary humans in scary costumes.

“EEP!!!” Aaaaand she’s hiding now

Now she’s clinging to the ghost. “Save me from the spookies!!!!”

“My hero!!” The chu plants many kisses on both of his cheeks

“My adorable hero!” She giggled, kissing his blushing cheek some more

“How about handsome?”

“My handsome hero!” She giggled, nuzzling him and kissing his cheek again

The chu gladly returns his hug, burying her face into his chest. “Best protector a chu could ask for”

A bright smile touched her lips when he started to give her head pats. “Chu /are/ the best”

“Nuh uh!” She squeaked, neon eyes looking up at him. “It’s chu, my Scary Ghost Protector”

“Yay!” More snuggles for the handsome ghost. How could he ever argue with that adorable face?

Cue a confused head tilt “Hey Dani? What’s ‘damn’ mean?” Oh no! The innocent chu has learned a bad word!

“So damn means bored and lonely?” Mai please don’t. That’s not what it means

Neon orange eyes would widen. “Is it a /bad/ word?! My trainer says Rai am never allowed to use those words. Bad Dani!” Cue a small boop to her nose. It’s the only thing Mai classifies as ‘punishment’

After dishing out her ‘punishment’, Mai would scoop the Snivy into her arms for a tight hug. “Rai missed chu, Dani!”

“Of course!” She squeaked. “He keeps all the spookies away from me”

“W-well, Rai don’t really like scary things, but Shade loves them! M-maybe Rai can be brave and try something spooky with him”

“Anyone who swears gets a punishment!” Mai, a boop on the nose is not really a punishment....

What’s that smell? That familiar smell. The chu would follow that scent until finally, the adorable Rai would take off and pounce on @SerpentineMerc “Daaaaaaavvvvveeeeeeyyyyyyy!!!!!!”

After being apart from eachother for two whole weeks, Mai would finally hear Shade come back from a nightly haunting. The chu’s door would fly open as she tackled 𝙎 𝙃 𝘼 𝘿 𝙀 in his doorway. “Shade!!!”
