Project Hermes assembly update: turns out the footprint I used for the joysticks on my PCB was too small D: 💔 So I had to get creative with some hot glue and interesting soldering I will make the controller work today 🫡

Fuck fuck I messed up on my PCB now I gotta hand wire stuff someone just end my misery

Solder fumes are yummy. On an unrelated note my head hurts now

Yeah ggs the solder fumes definitely fried my brain cuz I cannot sleep (that or the fact that I have been on my phone the entire time in bed)

In software when you make a mistake you can fix it immediately (most of the time) but if you make a mistake in hardware it takes fucking 2 weeks of wait time for a new PCB

Finally a yc startup that isn’t another b2b sass cursor for whatever We need more of these

After two failed prints and some messing around with settings I got part 1/4 for project Hermes printed!

I don’t wanna upgrade to windows 11 let me stay on windows 10 forever pleaseee

Lowkey Markham is kinda goated (only took me 8 years to realize this)
