Update: My children are taking good care of me in Jax. I realize recovery is going to be slow & I have to be patient. Still purple on my left torso but it’s lightening. I went on an excursion this morning but crashed for the rest of the day. 1 step at a time. Thanks for praying.

Heading home today. Still purple, still exhausted. Thankful to my kids who have cared for me so well & to all of you who have prayed & sent good wishes. Recovery is slow but we are getting there.

I saw the NP at the cardio & the pulmo this week. The hematoma is smaller - 8x4x3. Scant areas of bruising & swelling remain. The docs feel the rest of the hematoma will resolve over time. Listening to my body & resting lots. Thank you all for your prayers & good thoughts.
