How's this for a #toxicworkplace? In response to small-scale job actions of an overtime ban and 10 minute teach-ins, Simon Fraser University has disproportionately targeted vulnerable students by cutting health benefits. Shameful behaviour from an institution branding itself as equitable. #canlab

To be clear, Simon Fraser University's callous cancellation of health benefits is racist, ableist, and classist. This escalation shows that their commitment to #EDI is both performative and cynical. No doubt that students, faculty and the community will join TSSU in condemning this violent action.
