Martha Henry was known for her artistry, her wisdom, and her unforgettable performances in Stratford and across the country. Her passing is an extraordinary loss, and my thoughts are with her loved ones and her many fans as they remember the incredible legacy she leaves behind.

This beautiful (thread) reflection on Martha Henry captures her so beautifully. I have been so saddened by this death. I grew up watching her work, her vibrating search for the truth in texts, from the first performance I remember as a child to the Tempest. Mostly very grateful.
