Love students enough to want the best for them, love them enough to expect the best from them, and love them enough to hold them accountable for their actions, teaching them the importance of responsibility and integrity.

Thankful for (oft) unseen pastors, teachers, and ministry workers who simply love the people in front of them without fanfare, whose reward in heaven is great, and who don't have time to build a platform because they're too busy helping others.

Teachers are not defined by their lesson plans.  They are defined by their passion.

I wish I could give these away. I do give them away, locally, but wish I could airdrop them over the entire country. Guys are LOOKING for a vision for masculinity that makes sense, and isn't a bunch of cultural tropes. Even churches and Christian schools are sadly failing to do

Thank you to Baylor Scott & White Lake Pointe for allowing the GBCCA Pharmacy Technician Practicum students to tour the hospital and pharmacy today. Students learned about the role of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and the opportunities in hospital pharmacy.

A woman’s highest calling is not to be a wife and mother. While those are good, God-designed roles, they weren’t ever meant to be a woman’s highest or truest calling. The Great Commission and the Great Commandment are a woman (and man's) highest calling.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. They should not, however, expect a big social media following.

My parents' generation had regular get-togethers—cards every Wednesday night with the Millers, that kind of thing. I have great friends, but I can’t get them to commit to something like that. Every get-together is a one-off. I think that’s a shame. How about you?

In many ways I am less concerned with how Christians vote, than I am the kind of people they become, the relationships they’ve broken, & the evangelistic witness they’ve squandered after the election is over.

Election season brings out a certain time of crazy in people. It’s like a large number of Christians completely forget that God is still on the throne and in control.
