Don't touch the hooman..... Gosh I love these venomous little jewels. Found this Blue-ringed octopus on a night dive as it was out hunting. Decided pretty quickly that underwater housings weren't as tasty as crabs or other crustaceans.

This cowfish blows... literally. This cute little Shaws Cowfish blows jets of water to expose little crustaceans and other tasty morsels beneath the sand.

Hey Optus do you think it's acceptable that your staff give a 70 year old woman the run around for 3 days, handballing her to one irrelevant department to the next so she ends up in tears and can't get paid? 4 hours later I'm still on hold trying to help. It's a joke.

A night time rodeo with two main differences: 1. It's underwater; and 2. The horse does the riding and in this instance its trying to hold onto to seaweed swaying in the current.

Found this funky looking fish out in the open during a night dive. The stargazer, a sand assassin which is usually hiding in the sand waiting to ambush passing prey. It clearly had better things to do than be ogled at by humans so it quickly swam away.

When the deceptive and the deadly meet... It's a fizzer' Blue-ringed Octopus lands on the face of a flathead. Flathead holds its nerve. Be like the flathead...

For many doing it tough right now, what’s happening in our oceans, is probably the least of our worries. But for Marine Biologist Sheree Marris, out of sight doesn’t mean out of mind and she reckons we need to care more. #TheProjectTV

Me nervously waiting for the Premier of Victoria's press conference today to update us on the potential easing of COVID restrictions... Fingers and fins crossed. #fish #funny #lockdown #nature #uwphoto #marinelife #underwaterphoto #naturephoto #portphillip #victoria #freedom

Ladies around the world were burning their bras this week as a bunch of blokes gave birth and here's the proof. Baby sea ponies. PS. For those playing along at home male seahorses are the only poor schleps in the animal kingdom to give birth and I'm all for it. Anne Tarasov
