Yesterday, I spent the afternoon with Shelley Duvall’s ex-husband Bernard Sampson in Houston who had an impressive collection of many unseen Shelley photos from the early days of her career. I’ll post more over the coming weeks, but I hope to write a book on Shelley one day! 💕

Shelley and Bernard met through mutual friends in the late 1960s and they quickly married on July 7, 1970. But as her career progressed, they split in 1974 and officially divorced in 1977. They were the perfect pair at the time 💕 (Photos from Houston Chronicle, 1971)
