I don't know who needs to hear this, but Notre Dame is better than Miami. ND improved throughout the season. Miami leveled off. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This is the worst selection committee we've ever had. Cannot believe Alabama didn't even drop one spot after the SEC title game blowout. Cannot believe they waited until the final reveal to flip Miami-ND. Could have done it at ANY point.

At the end of the day… you can’t lose the 2 biggest games on your schedule and expect to be in the CFP. Disappointing for sure, but I get it. #GoIrish

Also a note for next year’s #CFP rules: the auto bids for a conference championship need to be reevaluated. Two very good teams in Notre Dame and BYU are locked out of the playoffs for a #20 Tulane and #25 JMU

Last thing one CFB playoff. Miami had to be in over ND. But Notre Dame should’ve been in to and I would’ve put Notre Dame in over Bama. The system is stupid and incredibly flawed. Hopefully it gets changed

Breaking: Notre Dame is withdrawing its name from consideration for a bowl game and will not play again this season. The decision comes after the Fighting Irish did not make the 12-team CFP.

How is this not widely reported? CFP berth guaranteed if Notre Dame is ranked in the top 12 starting 2026 - we will never join a conference. There is zero incentive to do so.
