Thank you Nelufar Hedayat and Doha Debates for your recent podcast episode on period poverty and for shedding light on this global stigma. I’ve been binging Course Correction and loving the discussions around such important issues.

Here's my latest article for McGraw Hill PreK-12 about making classrooms more inclusive for transgender and nonbinary kids. As the facilitator for GSA in my district, I've been honored to learn from my GSA students about how to best serve these communities. link.medium.com/V1cCMMUuo7

Observation: teachers make teaching a dangerously large part of their identity. Teachers put up with low pay, long hours, etc. because they equate their job with their identity. Most other professions don't do this identity-equating and wouldn't accept what teachers put up with.
