Mane has let go of and sacrificed a lot in the pursuit of attaining a certain level of education, which is almost at the finish line, in order to return home and contribute. Yet, from afar, the system does not seem encouraging at all & It’s really baffling, yunno?

Steadfast, steadfast—this is how we’ve reached the end of the second semester of our master’s program. Up next? A month of recalibration via vacation, the final semester, and then, Inshallah, graduation early next year🤭🙏

Dedication was given, challenges were conquered, & the mission to alter the narrative & break generational barriers took center stage. The goal has been achieved. Yes, I did it! This Tuesday, I’ll officially bag my Master’s in Marketing from Near East University. What a journey!

Master in Marketing was secured on Tuesday from Near East University, and with it, a dream was fulfilled, a goal accomplished, and a glass ceiling was shattered! Thank you, Allah! Thank you, Mama! Thank you to my siblings, loved ones, and everyone who stood by me throughout!

Four years later, and it feels soo good to welcome Ramadan with my family yet again! The late-night prayers, the suhoor conversations, and the first iftar together feel just so right! Glad to be home for it 💫
