A really simple thing they’ve included… “If you’re able, please stand for the National anthem” It adds about 1 second, and 3 words, to what they need to say. Yet it makes it so much more inclusive… It’s not difficult to use inclusive language.

Wow, today we have had the honour and privilege to deliver a session to the incredible Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Volunteers who were eager to learn more about supporting autistic patients, patients with learning disabilities and patients with mental health needs. Can’t wait to see you all again!
