Our combined football team of #RFA #RoyalNavy #RoyalMarines & #BritishArmy Ships’ Company played Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces Sierra Leone Navy whilst in Freetown. A sloping ground, waterlogged ‘all’ weather pitch made for a challenging, if not entertaining match. 🇬🇧⚓️⚽️🇸🇱 SL Navy 3 - RFA LB 2

⚓️As its final engagement whilst in Freetown, RFA LYME BAY yesterday hosted 20 students from the Sierra Leone College of Business and Maritime Industry. Plenti tenki for providing such a valuable insight into maritime industry and inspiring the future generation. 🇬🇧🇸🇱

UK RFA LYME BAY docked in Sierra Leone teamed up with the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces Navy!🇸🇱 Royal Marines 42 Commando Royal Marines led maritime training, tactical drills, & used the Commando Raiding Craft.⚓️ The visit ended with a friendly football match, a last moment 3-2 win to the Sierra Leone Navy!⚽️
